Sexual assault is an act of violence where sex is used as the weapon. It is against the law! Examples of sexual assault are: rape, incest, child sexual assault, stalking and sexual harassment. It happens in a relationship, marriage, family, a school, and workplace.
A victim can be: a woman, a man, a daughter, a son, a sister, a brother, a friend, a child, a grandmother, or a grandfather. It can be anyone!
A victim/survivor of sexual assault is not to be blamed for the action; it is the perpetrator who causes it and is responsible.
